Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2025, a scene from the sidelines.

A scene from the sidelines, brilliant atmosphere, tribute and energy at the annual Leeds event.

The Rob Burrow Leeds marathon starts and ends at Headingly rugby stadium with runners following a circular route around Woodhouse Moor, onto Adel, Lawnswood, Bramhope, Pool in Wharfedale and Otley. In it’s third year, once again such an amazing tribute to the life and achievements of the late rugby league legend Rob Burrow and this is always our favourite race to go out and support as a family as it’s such a friendly event. The children made signs and got so many compliments and thanks from the runners who hopefully appreciated the motivation.

The marathon’s partner charities and good causes are the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, 4Ed, Alzheimer’s Society, Candlelighters, Happy Days Children’s Charity, Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Leeds North & West Foodbank, Leeds Rhinos Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Stand Against MND and St Gemma’s Hospice.

Here’s a few photographs from the sidelines, hope you enjoy!
